Established in Jamaica in 1953 by the late Bishop Nathaniel Higgins & Evangelist Olga Higgins, Bethel Temple Apostolic was birthed under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit for soul saving as required in Matthew 28:19-20.

As the establishment grew in faith and in numbers, the Lord added to the church daily, such as should be saved, Acts 2:47.

In 2006, Bishop Colville Webb Snr was ordained as head of the organization, presiding over seven local assemblies in Jamaica at the time, regarded as the Bethel Temple Apostolic (BTA) Circuit of Churches. After years of serving in this capacity, Bishop Webb and his wife, Minister Yvette Webb migrated and relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Webb connected with Minister Jacqueline Smith-Bennett of Port St. Lucie, and a new BTA branch was born in 2019, namely Bethel Temple Apostolic Worship Center.

BTA’s youngest assembly in Port St Lucie, FL continues to grow spiritually, under the leadership of Bishop Colville Webb.
